Position:  JAVA/J2EE Developer (Very Urgent!!!)

Location:  San Francisco, CA

Duration:  1 yr (minimum), high possibility of extension

Requirements:

 

*         Total Exp - 7+ yrs

 

*         Good Design, Development and Support experience with Large Scale high availability Java Based Web Services .

 

*         Solid background in object oriented programming with Java and familiarity with design patterns.

 

*         Strong Concept Knowledge of Web service  workflow  Mechanism.

 

*         Strong working knowledge of Spring MVC Framework.

 

*         Expertise in Web services - SOAP, HTTP, XML, WSDL, XSD .

 

*         Experience using an Integrated Development Environment (Eclipse, etc.)

 

*         Experience using Web service Apache CXF Framework.

 

*         Experience in Oracle Database is highly desirable.

 

*         Subject Matter expert on Application Server (Weblogic / WebSphere) Technical Infrastructure .

 

*         Design and development experience with large J2EE appications for very high Transactional data.

 

*         Excellent written and verbal communication skills .

 

*         Experience with a formal SDLC-based implementation methodology.

Job Description:

This application utilizes a broad spectrum of technology on multiple development platforms.  Web technologies used include: ASP.NET MVC, Javascript, jQuery, HTML. 
Our .NET programming is done using Visual Studio, and the primary language we use is C#.  We support Web Applications, Windows Forms client applications, and also .NET Web Services.  We currently target .NET Framework 4 for all of our new development, with some of our existing development still on .NET framework 3.5.  An understanding of, and experience with Object Oriented programming is a must. 
Database queries are performed on a variety of platforms, so general SQL knowledge is required.  Some experience with test automation and multi-threaded programming in .NET would be beneficial.
