POSITION : QA Engineer
LOCATION : Orlando, FL
DURATION : 6 Months Contract
INTERVIEW : PHONE THEN F2F
RATE : $35--37/hr MAX
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are currently conducting a search for a QA Engineer. The ideal QA Engineer for this position, must have experience working in a fast paced, Agile team environment and have prior QA Automation experience. If you are a QA Engineer that only has Black box testing experience, then this is likely not the right environment for you. In addition to having prior work experience with QA Automation, for this position you will need to have extensive experience with REST, Database and Batch testing. You must also have work experience as a QA Engineer in a Java or C++ environment
Ideal QA Engineer candidates will have the following background and skills:
• 4+ years of QA Automation experience (UI Automation + Backend web services automation);
• Programming experience with Javascript or any object oriented programming language; (Java, C++)
• Experience with test automation using Selenium, JMeter or similar open source automation tools;
• Strong and recent experience with developing or working within an automated testing framework;
• Experience executing a wide variety of UNIX commands and scripts;
• Basic knowledge of XML, HTML, JavaScript and scripting languages;
• Performance and Load testing experience with automation tools;
• Very good understanding of SQL;
• Proven ability to test multiple projects simultaneously against tight timelines;
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to communicate across business and technical teams.
Performance Test Scripts
Load test reporting
Initial Regression Testing liaison of system functionality from Development to QA
Interaction with internal test team both Development and Quality Assurance
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and/or two (2) to four (4) years experience in application testing; experience with writing test cases as well as both manual and automated testing activities
Special Instructions: Must be very strong in Loadrunner and Test scripts, phone interview and then and in-person.
