Duties & Responsibilites :	The Oracle Database Administrator Expert will support multiple production Oracle databases in a 24X7 high-availability OLTP and Data Warehouse environments. The candidate will be responsible for the installation and patching of Oracle software, creation/configuration of new databases, troubleshooting, performance monitoring and tuning, backup/recovery, script development, and analysis of new technologies to affect cost savings and performance/availability improvements. The candidate may also be called upon to support database design and development efforts. Minimum 7+ years of experience working with as a Oracle DBA in Production Oracle database environments. Experience with Oracle 11gR2, Oracle RAC and Data Guard Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and projects. Ability to work effectively in a diverse technical team with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal skills. DDL and DML scripts. Administration of Oracle on Unix/Linux (SuSe 11) environments. Oracle 11gR2 RDBMS Oracle 11gR2 RAC Oracle 11gR2 Data Guard Oracle OEM Oracle Installation, Configuration and Upgrades. Strong SQL coding and debugging skills. Performance monitoring and tuning skills. Extensive backup/recovery experience(RMAN, Flashback). Database design skills in both OLTP and Data Warehouse environments a plus. Oracle Golden Gate
