-   Must have at least 1-2 yr exp with Guidewire project – the client is moving claims from Balboa system to Guidewire-candidate needs to understand data elements and know analysis in moving this and what are the gaps. They need to know what it means to move data from one claims system to the new one which is Guidewire.

-   2 to 5 years experience in data solutions including a combination of data requirements gathering, data documentation and mapping, data delivery and data quality assurance. Techniques applied should include some combination of direct experience in or exposure to: data processes, data modeling, data integration, database implementation, ETL development, business intelligence development, operational data store deployment, data warehouse deployment and data mart deployment. 

-   1 to 3 years experience within the property & casualty insurance business including multiple lines of business/product types, multiple functional areas and the complete insurance life cycle with emphasis on claims.

-   Demonstrated knowledge of or exposure to a database platform (DB2, MS SQL Server) and SQL language constructs, stored procedures or similar techniques. 

-   Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical personnel both verbally and in writing.
