The ideal candidate should consider themselves an expert in web technologies such as HTML / HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and JQuery. Hands on working knowledge of object-oriented programming with Java. In depth understanding of industry best practices with legacy browser challenges and emerging technologies. This candidate should enjoy engaging with other developers in a collaborative team environment, generating ideas, designing solutions and building them. The team works closely with our business stakeholders so effective verbal and written communication is a necessity. Skills: HTML / HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS, JSTL, JSP, JQuery, AJAX, JSON Java / J2EE on a well-known Application Server, Spring and Restful based services – no .NET or ASP Understanding of software development lifecycle, differing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative) Object Oriented Design and Programming and working knowledge of UML Must have worked as part of a team in large, complex, mission critical environments Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Experience: Computer Science degree or equivalent 8-10 years of hands-on relevant development Experience in a large Enterprise environment. | ||||
