Job Title : VB.Net Developer
Location : Baltimore, MD
Duration : 4 months (with possible extension)

REQUIRED SKILLS:
The successful candidate will have the following special qualifications:
• Full understand of Object Oriented Design
• Understanding of Full Life-Cycle Development
• Experience with Database Design
• Experience Developing Stored Procedures
• Experience with Crystal Reports
• 3 years experience using ASP.NET
• 3 years experience using MS Visual Basic.NET 2005 or higher
• 3 years experience developing with MS Visual Studio 2008 or higher
• 5 years experience using MS SQL Server 2005/2008
• 2 years experience using Oracle.
• Experience with webservices
Candidates must have full life-cycle and full application development experience – no GUI specialist, no query developer. No candidate who has worked solely from a queue of tickets
Tools/Technologies used:
• .NET Framework 4.0
• ASP.NET Web Application development using VB.NET
• Java Script/ JQuery, CSS, HTML
• Visual Studio 2010
• Team Foundation Server 2010 / Visual Source-safe 2005,
• SQL Server 2005
• SQL Server Integration Services 2005 (SSIS)
• Oracle 11g
All candidates are expected to provide an answer to the following test question:
· “Programming” test using VB.NET
· Given a list, array, of integers, find the index of the two consecutive numbers which have the largest sum.
· For example, if the array is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the answer is 4, as 4+5 = 9.
Optional Skills:
Business Domain (Unemployment Insurance Tax system) experience – Preferable, but not necessary. The person may have to support legacy applications written in Visual Objects.
