Install WebSphere
Review Documentation to find the appropriate configurations
Configuration Application based upon specifications
Work closely with Solutions partners to resolve issues
Make architectural recommendations for most efficient way to design HA environments.
UNIX/Websphere Engineer’s Job Requirements
At least 1-2 years’ experience with WAS 8.0 or 8.5
Experience using IBM Install Manager 1.6 or greater
At least 1-2 years’ experience with TomCat
Experience running Middleware on AIX/Linux and Windows
Prefer to have knowledge or experience with IBM Rational suite
Experience in opening PMRs and troubleshooting complex issues
