Experienced with testing applications both online and with batch processing components. Analyzes business requirements for changes to and/or new development related to mission-critical applications; developing all associated test documents (plans, cases, matrices). Execute test plans. Record and track test results. Analyze test results, troubleshoot error conditions and negative test results. Provide test result documentation to software development entity; clearly communicating test conditions met and results received. Provide regular progress reports. Testing Technician capabilities with 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Excellent communication and documentation skills required. Must work well independently and also as a team member.
