VMware View Engineers
LINCOLNSHIRE, IL
Duration : 6 Month (s) + Extension
Must-haves
VMware 5.x Engineering experience (last line of defense short of the vendor)
VMware View
Windows Domain services: Active Directory, group policy, DHCP, DNS File shares
ThinApp
Vsphere
Powershell, VB script - write, run, and modify scripts from scratch to support the environment for automation purposes, GPO scripts, windows services, and other custom in house applications
Windows environment
Large environment - at least hundreds if not thousands desktops
Citrix knowledge
Role
This company needs this VMware Engineer to provide level 3 support, development, and implementation of new solutions to the VMware View environment. They will be handling ongoing growth and support needs in the Site Architecture department. They will be the last line of defense short of the vendor, doing the engineering, support, testing, and validation of any issues.
