Job Description:                                                      

The Senior QA Automation Contractor will implement automation using Selenium to cover Web applications.

 

You must be an adaptable self-starter willing to work in an entrepreneurial organization.  You will work with Product Quality Assurance Engineering to implement your automation test suite for the Web team.

 

Primary Responsibilities

.      Develop an automated test using for our Web applications

.      Use existing Test Plans, Test Cases and provide Test Coverage and Test Execution Reports to support the automation results

.      Implement Agile testing methodologies, make and keep time commitments for each SPRINT

*     Conduct automation and performance test cycles for Product validation with Product QA teams

*     Provide and convey Quality metrics consisting of test coverage,  automation and performance test results for Product teams

.      Provide automation direction and leadership to other Automation Engineers and Product Quality Assurance Engineers

.      Provide feedback concerning completeness, accuracy, reliability and testability of systems prior to and during each test cycle

.      Coordinate test efforts with QA Director to ensure testing activities are repeatable and meaningful

.      Maintain documentation of automation and performance infrastructure to assist in continuous improvement and implementation of automation throughout QA organization

 

Requirements

.      Bachelor Degree in Computer Science with at least 10 years as a Principal Automation Engineer

.      Experience designing automation infrastructure in a Web, Web Services and Games Environment

.      10+ years of Automation and performance tools implementation using Selenium, HP QTP, Open source automation tool or Borland test tools

.      Experience using a high level coding language such as C++ or Java

.      Experience creating test scripts using JavaScript, PHP, PERL JSP or SQL for test generation

.      Comfortable working in a fast paced Agile environment

.      Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

.      Experience creatively solving complex automation problems

.      Strong written and verbal communication skills.
