Data Validation / Quality Assurance Analyst Overview:
-This isn't your typical QA analyst job.
-We're looking for someone with very strong data analysis and validation experience, specifically with ETL transformation.
-You will ensure and validate for data completeness within the data warehouse, prepare test cases and conduct root cause analysis.
-You will also be responsible for the execution and maintenance of automated and manual testing, reporting of test results and defect management of a marketing data warehouse solution.

Job Responsibilities:
-Data analysis – verify data integrity and quality in the database (according to requirements)
-Conduct ETL transformation validation
-Develop test scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results
-Execute test cases / Scripts and analyzes outcomes
-Validate fixes and ensures regression testing to all test cycles
-Document the actual results and metrics
-Analyze defects to determine root cause
-Communicate execution status to the Team
-Organize testing execution and results
-Record and reports on testing metrics
-Track and report defects using appropriate tools such as JIRA

Required Skills:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
-Ability to execute mid level SQL (joins (left outer), unions)
-Previous data warehouse experience
-Proven written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to analyze data & relate it to business needs
-Strong knowledge of databases
